At your school/after-school sites, it’s all about the kids.  But today, it’s all about you!  A Day of Serious Fun, is a unique teambuilding opportunity for staff teams and/or inidividual teachers and youth workers to flex their creative muscles while they swap stories, move and groove, and make magic messes.  Each day culminates in original performances that the group shares with each other.  Not only will folks learn more about themselves and each other through this process, they will also learn a variety of artistic activities that they can adapt to share with their students back at the site. 

Participant Outcomes:

1. Engage a variety of art forms (poetry, visual art, creative movement, and theater) in a playful environment that encourages creativity for adult learners
2. Assess strengths and challenges in communication among staff for the purpose of improving overall working conditions
3. Spend time together as a staff outside the normal work day to get better acquainted
4. Practice and take back art activities that can be used with children and youth at your site
