Details: Go Girls! at Glitter & Razz is a program dedicated to using creative processes to explore the magic and power of being a girl. We are leading this special workshops for moms with their daughters because we believe that:
- Kids don't just have a lot to learn from adults but that adults have a lot to learn from kids
- The happiness of our girls depends on what we are doing to make ourselves happy
- Art has the power to connect us as a community and transform lives
- Women and girls have the power to create and lead the world we all want to live in
Led by Glitter & Razz co-founders, Lynn Johnson & Allison Kenny, this highly interactive 2-hour workshop for girls ages 6-10 and their moms (or other loving adult women), will engage visual art, creative movement, and drama to share our stories and practice standing up for ourselves, each other, and our visions for the future.
The cost of this workshop is $75 for 1 Mother/1 Daughter. Each additional mother/daughter/girl is $25. Pre-Registration is required.

Details: Author Christine Carter, PhD, Director of the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, will read from and answer questions about her new book, Raising Happiness: 10 Simple Steps For More Joyful Kids & Happier Parents.
Meanwhile, your kids (ages 4 and up) will join Glitter & Razz teaching artists to create, practice, and perform their own play about what a happy childhood means from their perspective. Following the talk, parents will watch the play, honor the work of their children, and discuss the similarities & differences between the themes of the book and the themes of the children's play. The event begins at 2pm. The children's play will begin at 3pm.
If you are bringing children with you, please plan to arrive by 1:45 to check your children into the event.
Price: $10 for families. The event is free to single adults who are coming without children.
