WHAT'S HAPPENED

Once upon a time, there were 2 young women who were teaching, performing, and creating theater with and for communities in different parts of the country.

ALLISON KENNY was in Arizona where she was discovering the power of theater to transform the lives of large numbers of young people. LYNN JOHNSON was in Chicago and then North Carolina discovering the power of theater to bring communities together to talk about issues, big and small. In the summer of 2002, the 2 women traveled westward to San Francisco in search of new discoveries. They met, fell in love, and became family.

So, why theater?

At Glitter & Razz, we make a production out of everything! We believe that theater is a celebration of creativity & learning, hard work & hard play, unique individuals and caring communities. As families learn & grow together, theater can help you reinforce cooperation, connection, generosity, focus, discipline, imagination, and positive change.
